I applied in February and got a recruiter outreach in March to do a HireVue. The asynchronous questions were pretty behavioral and grounded in my background: I introduced myself, talked through my technical history and projects, and answered a prompt about a time I had to learn something quickly. After a few days, the recruiter came back to set up what they called a final round.
That final step ran about 45 minutes and was a live mix of behavioral and technical questions. I had two interviewers and they were both genuinely pleasant, which made the conversation feel more like a discussion than an exam. The questions were mostly pulled from what I had already put on my resume—my experiences first, then some technical follow-ups including systems/design style topics. There wasn’t any coding involved, which surprised me a bit, but the flow stayed comfortable and clear.

Average Positive Pune
My process started with technical screening where the questions centered on core Java and related framework knowledge. I talked through Java concepts and ended up doing a design-pattern style coding question that involved strings/streams, with follow-ups around performance and edge cases. Across the flow, I also got a heavier focus on systems-adjacent Java topics like collections/map behavior and concurrency basics, and I had to explain tradeoffs in the same technical language the role seemed to expect.
After that, I moved to a manager stage that looked more like a real-time walkthrough of my project experience. I was asked to connect my work to what patterns and architectures I’d used, and to describe the kinds of design decisions behind them rather than just naming technologies. The manager questions were anchored in my resume—what I built, what architecture I chose, and why—plus some Java/Spring Boot context tied back to those projects.
