Average Positive Perth, Western Australia

I kicked things off by applying online, and then I eventually received a call for a phone screening. After that, about a week later, I had a technical screen. The next step was an in-person interview at their site with the team, and during the visit I also went on a facility tour.

The day-to-day structure of it was pretty clear: first conversation with HR-style screening, then technical discussion, and then a fuller in-person look at both the people and the workplace. I felt like the facility tour helped ground what the team actually did, not just the role description.

Easy Positive Canada

I started the process by going through an initial recruiter-style conversation where the focus was very standard self-introduction and motivation. I had to talk through my background, explain why I wanted the role, and walk through both my strengths and weaknesses. They also asked me to describe a time I overcame a challenge and then followed up with what I knew about the company and why I believed I should be hired.

What made it feel manageable was that everything stayed tied to my relevant experience and skills for the position, rather than anything overly technical. The whole experience felt structured and straightforward, and I left feeling like they were trying to get a clear read on how I communicated and how well my story matched what the job needed. I ended up receiving an offer, which confirmed that the interview style worked for me.
