Average Negative Chicago, IL

After applying online, I was asked to complete an assessment first. Then a Zoom interview got scheduled, and I joined without a camera. The interview felt odd and overly rigid—the interviewer seemed very junior, and they were essentially reading questions and expecting an exact answer, like there was one correct phrasing they had in mind.

I answered almost all of the questions anyway, but the feeling was that variations didn’t really land, and my responses weren’t being interpreted in a flexible way. I didn’t move forward from that stage.
