After I’d made it through multiple rounds and even reached an in-person final, I felt pretty good about the environment. The people I met in the office were genuinely nice and supporting, and the final round still felt structured and human.
What dragged the experience down came after the interviews were over. I waited for feedback and it turned into an awkward delay—so slow that I ended up thinking I’d been ignored. Eventually I got a rejection signal, but even that felt messy compared to what it should have been.

Difficult Positive Australia
My interview journey was spread across multiple technical rounds, and the final stage ended up being much more “real interview” than just testing. After a resume overview and a first technical round, I had a final technical session where I spoke with several engineers. The questions covered a mix of machine learning, data structures, and algorithms, and it felt like they were probing breadth as well as fundamentals.
Before that final round, the earlier stages also included onsite-style problem solving with limited time. I remember sitting through an onsite round that started with behavior, then moving into math problems involving linear regression and a brain-teaser. The questions weren’t described as wildly complex, but the time limitation made them feel more stressful than they looked.

What to expect
Distilled from the reports
Interview Structure & Timeline
The interview process typically begins with an online coding assessment followed by a series of technical rounds that may include recorded interviews and phone screenings. Candidates should expect a structured approach with a clear progression through various technical evaluations.

Technical & Coding Assessments
Candidates will face multiple technical rounds focused on coding, math, and probability, often under strict time constraints. Expect a mix of algorithmic problems, data handling tasks, and mathematical reasoning that requires clear communication of thought processes.

Behavioral & Cultural Fit
While the technical evaluation is rigorous, candidates also report friendly and supportive interactions with interviewers, which contributes positively to the overall experience. However, the focus remains heavily on technical skills rather than cultural fit.
Candidates are expected to articulate their reasoning clearly during assessments, especially in recorded formats where explanation is as important as correctness. This emphasis on communication can add pressure during technical evaluations.

Feedback & Follow-Up
Candidates often experience delays in receiving feedback after interviews, which can lead to feelings of uncertainty about their performance. The feedback process may feel unprofessional or unclear, even when the interview itself is structured well.
The overall difficulty of the interview process is high, with a clear expectation for candidates to demonstrate both technical proficiency and the ability to perform under pressure. Many candidates feel that small mistakes can significantly impact their chances of success.
