Average Positive Singapore

My interview journey was relatively short and focused. I started with an HR phone screening where I discussed my background and experience. Then I moved into a technical round where I solved coding problems on a shared screen and explained my approach as I went.

In another similar step, the process began with a self-introduction and then an applied coding question tied to a todo list. The interviewer kept it casual and easy to talk to, and the session included a back-and-forth where I could ask questions and sometimes get guidance rather than just being pushed through a rigid script. Overall, the experience felt approachable and not overly dramatic, but it still tested whether I could communicate clearly while coding.

Easy Negative Melbourne

I went through two stages. The first was a very easy coding challenge where I had to grab data, do simple operations, and display it on a basic UI. I went beyond what was asked—built a polished UI and analyzed the data carefully to squeeze out a better result.

The second stage felt unprofessional and demotivating. The interviewer had visible signs of frustration and rolled eyes, and the tone made it clear I wasn’t being taken seriously as a fit. The impression I got was that it had something to do with my English accent and not being fully fluent in my second language, more than my actual skills or experience. The work ended up feeling like it was judged mainly around UI technologies rather than what I could actually do. I was rejected after that, and I wouldn’t recommend the experience based on how it felt.
