After I applied, a recruiter got in touch pretty quickly to set up a phone interview. The whole process moved fast—around three weeks from first contact to the end—and when it wrapped I felt like everything was straightforward, with behavioral questions driving most of the conversations. The recruiter call was basically about scheduling, and then the interviews followed a resume-forward pattern.

For the live parts, I ended up speaking with multiple people rather than just one manager. Some interviews were fairly calm and conversational, and the questions stayed largely focused on my background: walking through my resume, explaining why this company made sense to me, and going deeper on areas that appeared on my experience. I didn’t get the sense they were looking for fancy finance puzzles; it was more about how I explained my story and whether I knew enough about the firm. Even when one round felt a bit more technical, it was still rooted in basics like financial statement knowledge and general company knowledge.
