My process started with an HR screen, and then I moved into an interview stage with hiring managers and team members. In that first conversation, we kept it pretty straightforward: my background, my experience, and logistics like availability, and it quickly turned into the usual recruiting flow of talking through how the role would work.

After that, I went through rounds where the atmosphere was friendly and fairly casual. The interviews I had with team members covered a mix of behavioral questions and role-relevant fundamentals. I remember being asked about my understanding of accounting, my experience in general, and then getting pulled into a few technical check-ins—enough to be noticeable, including things like mental math. On at least one day, I talked to two people at once, and later I met individuals separately, which made the experience feel like a real team tryout rather than a single Q&A.
