Right after I applied, a recruiter reached out and we set up a phone screen because scheduling lined up for both of us. That call focused on the role and a quick check of my experience—enough to verify I matched what they were looking for.

From there, the process started to feel unreliable. Dates kept shifting and I kept waiting for the next step without the timeline ever really landing. I also experienced moments where I was told I was moving forward, but then communication stalled for weeks, and I ended up getting ghosted after the recruiter indicated there would be follow-up.

I had an awkward start because the recruiter interview didn’t happen on time. I waited nearly 10 minutes past the agreed schedule, and when I called to check in, it turned out she had simply forgotten. What surprised me most was that instead of an apology, the conversation immediately shifted into a quick resume check.
