My process landed on a difficult, technical-heavy set of rounds. After the initial steps, I ended up in a multi-round interview where the questions drilled into how frameworks and core Java/Spring features work. I was asked what Spring Boot annotations are commonly used for and why, and I had to explain my understanding clearly rather than just naming them.
They also pushed hard on runtime behavior and software design fundamentals. I got questions about how I handle exceptions in code and whether I’d created threads in my own projects, along with what the role of the thread would be. On top of that, I was asked about core OOP and programming topics, plus more coding-style prompts that focused on things like reversing strings/numbers using Java, and SQL-related problem solving.

Difficult Positive Hyderābād
I got far enough that I was being told I needed an HR discussion, but it was confusing because it sounded like it was mandatory to do it face to face in a specific location far from my hometown. I asked what the HR discussion round actually involved and what kinds of questions they planned to ask, since I didn’t have clarity on the purpose or format.
The process felt like it was missing basic transparency, and that uncertainty made it hard to know how to prepare. I wasn’t given enough detail beyond the requirement for an in-person HR discussion. Ultimately, I didn’t move forward to an offer, and I was left wishing the recruiter communication had been clearer about the HR step.
