San Francisco, CAPosted Sep 2012 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I got contacted out of the blue by a recruiter about the position, and after some email back-and-forth we set up an initial chat.

The conversation about the role felt interesting, and I was told I was moving to the next round where I’d speak with a team member by phone.

That next scheduled conversation never happened. I waited for the call time, reached back out to the recruiter to reschedule, and then followed up again when nothing came through. I ended up emailing multiple times with no response at all.

The experience ended without any offer or closure. What was most striking was how quickly the momentum disappeared, turning what started as a promising outreach into a long stretch of silence.
