I was given several problems to solve over a weekend, which meant the early stage was less about talking and more about doing.

On Monday I arrived, signed an NDA, and then the interview began almost immediately—just a short wait before we started. The setting felt courteous and professional.

The technical interview itself was very deep. I had to explain my algorithms and then talk through how I would optimize the approach. It wasn’t enough to say what I’d do; I had to justify it in terms of performance. The difficulty was difficult overall, and I didn’t get an offer. What I took away from it was how much they expected you to be comfortable not only solving, but also improving and defending your solution.
