Zoox Software Engineer interview experience

The whole process took about five weeks. Interviews were largely with team members who I would later work with.

I moved through a phone screen, then a data structures and algorithms coding test, and then I presented work I’d done previously. After that there were rounds focused on general math and problem-solving, plus some C++ trivia, then an OOP system-design discussion, and finally an executive interview. The process felt balanced: it was technical in multiple ways without feeling chaotic, and by the end I didn’t have anything major that surprised me—just a lot of deliberate evaluation.
