A recruiter reached out to me at Zoox and we started with a one-hour phone call.

After that, I moved to an online technical screen that lasted about 90 minutes. Once that finished, I was called by one of their software engineers for an additional interview round.

By the time I completed the third interview, I was rejected. The pace felt fairly direct—recruiter to online test to a final technical conversation—and I remember walking away knowing I had pushed through the main technical checkpoints, but it still didn’t land.
