I ran into a timed take-home coding challenge early in the process.

I also have testing anxiety, and during the challenge I had a panic attack, which meant I couldn’t finish.

I reached out to my point of contact to explain what happened and asked for accommodations related to my disability. Even after communicating that clearly, I never got a response.

That was the hardest part of the experience for me: it wasn’t just failing to complete the take-home under time pressure—it was not hearing back after raising an accessibility need. I didn’t move forward, and the lack of follow-through made it feel even more unfair.
