Zoox Software Engineer interview experience

The recruiter also asked why I wanted to join Zoox and what I saw as the difference between Zoox and other self-driving car companies.

After that, the technical part I took was entirely coding. The interview consisted of a brief C++ quiz followed by building something like an airline ticket system. The interviewer was friendly, but it stayed very focused and purely technical, with no big detours into broader topics.

I ultimately didn’t get an offer. Still, I came away thinking the structure was clean—just not the right match for the outcome they were looking for.
