I interviewed for a commercial AE role after an internal recruiter reached out quickly, but the process felt misaligned from the start and I still never received a clear next step.

Internal recruiter screen — We discussed the “commercial” role label and what they said the job aligned to; I arrived expecting a more corporate/enterprise-aligned scope.
Interviews with leadership — I attempted to ask clarifying questions during the process, but the follow-through felt incomplete and confusing.
Communication gaps — I noted that clarity was lacking and the process stalled. Outcome: No offer—my takeaway was that vague role framing and unclear follow-through can derail alignment early.
