I interviewed for an Account Executive role in a process that was straightforward in outline but centered heavily on a final selling exercise.

Intro + deeper interview — I had an opening conversation and a follow-up interview that probed my background and fit.
Final selling exercise — I was given a customer scenario and expected to demonstrate how I’d sell; I was advised to review relevant Zoom product knowledge beforehand. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and the takeaway was that the last round tested whether I could translate product knowledge into a convincing sales pitch.
