I ran into a confusing Account Executive screening where communication felt awkward and the recruiting flow didn’t match what they asked me to do.

Recruiter outreach via LinkedIn — I was contacted and, after repeated prompts, eventually scheduled.
Surface-level conversation — The recruiter mostly talked and didn’t ask much beyond basics; it felt like I was left reacting rather than being evaluated.
Application inconsistency — I was told I’d need to apply on the website even though they had already contacted me. Outcome: I didn’t move forward, and the takeaway was that the process felt poorly coordinated and not genuinely tailored to my fit.
