I went into the process with a clear sequence and reasonable expectations: a recruiter call first, then a full loop of interviews that included both coding and behavioral discussions, and then a final behavior round.

In my case it ran over scheduled video rounds and felt organized on paper.

The frustrating part was what happened after. At one point, the recruiter told me I got an offer and that they were finalizing it, but a few days later that changed abruptly—they said the team picked someone else. Later, when I followed up, I also saw the pattern of being ghosted and then receiving an automated rejection email, even after the recruiter reached back out to ask if I was still on the market and scheduled what felt like the same interview process again.

I ended without an offer, and honestly the worst
