I went through a fairly classic multi-round structure where the emphasis stayed technical throughout.

In total it was four rounds: an algorithm/data-structures round with medium-level LeetCode style questions, a separate technical generalist round, then a system design round focused on low-level and high-level design. The last step was managerial, which still included technical questions mixed with questions about how I think and operate.

The coding portion didn’t feel like an afterthought—it was central. In another part of the process, I also saw lots of “fundamentals” style questioning, including things like Unix and SQL concepts, and even lower-level topics around interpreting code signal
