I joined the Zoho hiring process and ended up clearing all the rounds that I was given, including the general HR discussion.

The process felt fairly close to what I expected—multiple stages where I demonstrated coding and fundamentals enough to reach the end.

Still, I didn’t get selected after the HR round. What surprised me most was the reason I was given afterward: they seemed to reject me because I was a C++ person rather than Java-focused, even though I had managed to perform well enough to pass everything until the final conversation. Overall, it left me frustrated because my effort clearly got me far, but the final decision felt disconnected from my actual performance in the interview stages.
