ZF Group Software Engineer interview experience

The format was very specific: they asked four questions, and I had two minutes per question to answer. Before each response, I was given 30 seconds to think and get my thoughts in order.

It felt like a test of clarity under time pressure. Because it was recorded, I couldn’t interact or adjust in real time, so every question had to be answered cleanly on the first try.

I didn’t receive an offer. Honestly, the hardest part was not the questions themselves but the lack of back-and-forth—I could feel myself wanting to expand, but the timing left no room.
