ZF Group Software Engineer interview experience

They talked about the work setup in a way that implied I’d be doing research-focused tasks instead of production work. The questions were basic—mainly getting acquainted with me.

I shared my name, where I was from, my degree, and where I wanted to work. They didn’t go into technical questions at all, so the whole round stayed on motivation and background.

I did receive an offer from this process, and the experience matched the “very easy” difficulty level—less about demonstrating engineering depth and more about confirming the conversation basics and fit for what they were offering.
