ZF Group Software Engineer interview experience

Because my resume leaned heavily toward technical content, most of what I was asked was basic ECE-style knowledge.

The questions were described as basic, but the intent was clear: they wanted to confirm I had the foundational understanding behind the technical items I’d listed. The level felt appropriate for checking baseline competence.

I didn’t receive an offer. Overall, the experience was about validating fundamentals from my background rather than testing me with complex, open-ended problems.
