ZF Group Software Engineer interview experience

The video portion was easy, but the in-person meeting left me with a bad impression about the culture. The manager sat there and let lower engineers ask most of the questions, and it didn’t feel like a fun place to work.

What really made it clear to me was the focus on calibrating transmissions only, with little indication of growth or variety. It sounded like they wanted someone to commit fully to a narrow learning path.

I didn’t receive an offer. Even if the interview questions weren’t extremely difficult, the mismatch in how the role sounded and the overall vibe made me regret engaging.
