Zeta Solutions Engineer interview experience

The technical interview focused on current trends in debugging, specifically as it would apply to a PSE, and it pushed me to talk through how I think when things go wrong in real systems.

The other two rounds were more problem-solving oriented, centered on techniques and how I approach challenges rather than only arriving at a final result. I ended up leaving with the sense that they were checking whether I could reason under uncertainty, not just whether I could recite standard patterns. It didn’t convert into an offer, but the structure made the evaluation feel coherent.
