Zapier Software Engineer interview experience

A recruiter screen led into an interview that felt fairly light and not very detailed, largely focused on my experience and past achievements rather than deep technical probing. Overall, it came across as straightforward, and it didn’t feel especially difficult.

I didn’t move forward after that round, so I never got to any of the deeper technical stages. The experience was fine in tone, but I also didn’t get much of a window into what they wanted beyond my background story, which made it hard to tell what would have changed the result.
