Philadelphia, PAPosted Sep 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I spoke directly with a manager at Yelp, and the conversation felt supportive rather than combative.

During the interview, we did a role-play, and I received some feedback along the way—enough to show where I could improve, but not so much that it felt like I was being judged unfairly.

The manager also made expectations for the role and pay more explicit, which I appreciated because it reduced a lot of guesswork. Even though I didn’t end up receiving an offer, I left feeling like I understood what the job would actually require and that the interview was taking my performance seriously.
