My Yelp interview started with a video, and I watched it alongside a group of other people before being split off into individual teams.

Then I was given mock questions and walked through what they expected during the sales portion.

After that, I had a mock call with the sales manager. The conversation was clearly geared toward how I’d handle real customer interaction, and once that was done I was told I was being offered the job.

I ultimately declined, and the reason was the salary structure and the goals they tied to the role. Even though the process itself went far enough to get to an offer, the compensation and expectations didn’t feel like they matched what I wanted.
