I had an initial recruiter call that started off with scheduling problems—the recruiter joined late, but we still managed to talk.

At the end, she mentioned she’d send a status update in about a week.

That update never arrived. I followed up twice over the next weeks, and eventually I got a message that the hiring team hadn’t provided any update. By the time a few months had passed, I was still sitting without any closure or decision.

I never received an offer, and the overall feeling was frustrating more than anything else: the early conversation didn’t lead to a clear process, and the lack of communication left me hanging without even a straightforward “no”.
