San Francisco, CAPosted Jun 2019 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

A recruiter screening kicked things off, and the call felt friendly enough that I wasn’t too nervous.

He told me the technical interview would be remote, and honestly, I was relieved it was only supposed to be an hour.

The technical test turned out to be an unrealistic ask. I still submitted what I worked on anyway, but I could tell it wasn’t going to go well. I was rejected promptly right after, which made the whole thing feel abrupt. The part that stuck with me most was how quickly the outcome came after a test that didn’t match what I expected from a normal screen.
