I did a couple of in-person interviews that were very tightly scheduled—two 30-minute sessions and a whiteboard-style format.

Across the rounds, I handled two algorithm questions and one design question.

They kept it in pseudo-coded Java on a whiteboard, and the interviewer was genuinely helpful and friendly while I worked. I felt comfortable asking questions during the process, and the environment made it feel like they were testing my reasoning rather than trying to trip me up.

The process ended without an offer, but I left with the honest impression that the difficulty was manageable and the interviewer’s tone made a noticeable difference.
