Xero Product Manager interview experience

My process was refreshingly simple.

I had a phone screening first, then two interview rounds, all with a fairly standard structure focused on product owner-style skills—how I managed time, what my strengths looked like, and how I’d describe weaknesses.

The recruiter made everything feel smooth and supportive, and the overall interviews stayed within a clear framework rather than trying to surprise me. Difficulty felt low and the pace was easy to follow.

I didn’t end up getting an offer, but the experience was straightforward and well supported throughout, and it didn’t feel unnecessarily stressful.
