San Francisco, CAPosted Apr 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

The interview experience felt like it was held to very high standards, and it came across as hard to clear without having startup experience.

Scalability seemed to be a big theme, and the interviewers didn’t communicate the requirements clearly.

Even when I asked follow-up questions to clarify what they wanted, the answers stayed vague, yet they still expected my solution to match an internal approach they had in mind. That mismatch—between clarity on the problem and clarity on the expectations—made it difficult to know what “good” looked like.

I didn’t receive an offer, and what I remember most was that the bar wasn’t just technical; it was also about navigating ambiguous instructions under pressure.
