xAI Software Engineer interview experience

It felt like a simple coding question, the kind that would land in the easy range for leetcode, and after submitting, I just waited.

A follow-up came about a week later, but I still never got any real response after that. The overall pattern was short on communication, even though the technical portion itself wasn’t heavy.

I didn’t hear back beyond the follow-up, and the main feeling I had was that the pipeline moved slowly from that point onward. It was basically a brief test followed by silence.
