San Francisco, CAPosted Sep 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I landed in a very difficult round that leaned hard on DSA and also pulled in a lot of machine learning/AI topics since I’d mentioned them in my resume.

The interviewer asked very in-depth data structure and algorithm questions, and the conversation also kept circling back to data manipulation.

It wasn’t just broad theory; the questions felt targeted at whether I could reason through details under pressure. I found parts of it challenging because it wasn’t a single lane—it mixed algorithmic depth with domain-specific expectations tied to ML/AI.

I didn’t receive an offer from that interview, and overall it left me feeling like the bar was extremely high across both fundamentals and the data/AI-adjacent material.
