My first step felt rushed and disconnected from any real conversation about sales.

I had to drive a long distance—around 70 miles—to a cheap hotel just to interview, even though the setting didn’t feel especially serious. When I got there, there weren’t meaningful questions about my previous sales experience.

What really threw me off was how quickly and quietly it ended. I received a rejection email within 24 hours, and it didn’t include much explanation or any feedback about what went wrong.

I didn’t get an offer, and the whole thing left me with the impression that the decision was made quickly—before the interview ever seemed to matter.
