I had one round of interviews over Teams with both finance and HR.

It was focused on competency-based questions, and the whole thing was friendly and approachable.

I was able to ask questions throughout, not just at the end, and that made the conversation feel more two-way. The round itself was just one interview, so it didn’t stretch out into a long chain of sessions.

I received an offer. My takeaway was that the friendly tone and the chance to ask questions helped me come across clearly, even with competency-style questions being somewhat structured.
