I got pulled into a recruiting process that felt almost entirely technical from the start.

After an initial behavioral and technical test, I had a very technical conversation with a senior researcher. The questions were heavy and wide-ranging, and I kept running into programming, probability, and differential equations.

Honestly, it was the hardest interview I’d ever seen. I couldn’t answer roughly 40% of the questions, and the whole flow felt less like a discussion and more like a rapid sequence of hard problem-solving prompts. I left with the clear impression that I wasn’t keeping up with the pace and depth they were expecting, and I didn’t receive an offer.
