There was a step before the live interview: an online test with math and programming.

It was relatively difficult, and it set the tone for what came next.

In the interview, the conversation started with me describing my current position, and then the interviewer moved into math and programming questions. The interviewer format felt like a straightforward technical check—less about theatrics and more about whether my explanations matched the actual reasoning behind the problems.

I didn’t get an offer. Still, it felt like the difficulty was consistent with the test I had taken beforehand, and that made the process feel fair even though I wasn’t selected.
