Saint Louis, MOPosted Nov 2013 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview was purely technical and I met with managers from the database team and the application development team.

There wasn’t much conversation outside of the exercise itself—the entire session was a whiteboard coding problem built around solving a business use case.

They asked me to write code to address the scenario, and the flow was focused on implementation rather than discussion of theory. It was clear they were evaluating how I approached the problem step-by-step, and how well I could translate requirements into working logic on the spot.

I didn’t end up getting an offer, but the experience was memorable because it was so direct: it felt like they wanted to see my coding under pressure
