I did two rounds of interviewing that were both virtual—first with HR and then with the hiring manager.

The process felt well organized and surprisingly welcoming, and it didn’t give me that awkward “are you sure you’re supposed to be here?” integration feeling.

The conversations themselves didn’t feel hostile or artificially difficult; the tone was professional and smooth. Because it was only two rounds, it also didn’t feel like there were multiple layers trying to validate me in different ways.

I still didn’t get an offer. The strongest memory was how polished the scheduling and atmosphere felt, compared to how little total surface area there was to the process.
