After a casual recruiter-to-hiring-manager conversation, I moved into a deal review with a panel.

The format was pretty straightforward: I had to walk through my sales experience and how I executed, essentially turning my background into a clear narrative of what I’d done and how I’d drive outcomes.

The next step was an interview with hiring leadership. That last round felt more focused on judgment and fit than on repeating the same sales stories again. Overall, the process moved along with a fairly standard sales-evaluation arc, and while I didn’t end up receiving an offer, I left with the sense the bar was clear and structured—even if it was still competitive.
