Wood Software Engineer interview experience

It was friendly, but the technical depth didn’t really go very far—I didn’t feel like it was probing deep into hard engineering topics. The whole interaction was mostly lightweight and quick, more like a conversation about fit than a technical evaluation.

Afterward, I didn’t receive any feedback by email, not even a closing note. That silence made the process feel unfinished, especially since it was such a brief screen.

Overall, it was easy to participate in because it was low-pressure and quick, but the lack of follow-up left me with an unclear sense of where I stood.
