Wood Software Engineer interview experience

There was plenty of time to ask questions of my own, and between the back-and-forth it felt like I could actually prepare during the process rather than just waiting.

I also got calls in between interviews from HR, which helped me adjust before the next step. The second interview was more of a work-style exercise: I had to do a presentation based on a past project that matched what the role required. Overall it felt like they wanted to see how I structured my thinking and communicated technical context, not just how I answered questions.
