My process started with a friendly phone conversation and then moved into a more technical discussion.

It followed a pretty fair flow: we covered some background and past experiences, and the technical questions came with enough follow-up to understand where I stood. I also had a Q&A at the end, which made it feel less like the call just ended abruptly after the coding portion.

Across the technical part, I talked through my approach rather than just blurting out answers. The interviewer who handled the coding was engaged enough to discuss the solution and then continue with follow-ups, and there was a clear switch from casual behavioral questions into talking about a project I’d worked on.
