Wise Software Engineer interview experience

Negative

EstoniaPosted Mar 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My experience leaned more negative, mostly because of how the conversations went rather than the technical topics.

The very first HR screening I had felt rushed and superficial, and it didn’t come across like a real two-way discussion. It left me with almost no feedback at all, and I ended up being rejected with no explanation.

Later, I ran into another technical screen where the interviewer was late. Even after I explained that I didn’t have deep experience with Spring, they still pressed me on Spring-specific questions and the tone felt dismissive—like they were making assumptions about my intelligence instead of focusing on my answers.

At the more structured “pair programming” and system design
