Whatnot Software Engineer interview experience

The first round used Coderpad, and after that I went into a final round made of two interviews: product design and system design. The whole sequence felt fairly standard, and I finished expecting at least some sort of follow-up.

A few days later, I received a generic rejection email without explanation. I asked for feedback about why I wasn’t selected, but I never heard back. That silence left the whole process feeling incomplete.

I didn’t get the offer, and the biggest reflection I had was how little transparency there was at the end—no closure, just a quick message and then nothing.
