I had a phone interview that lasted about an hour.

It began with a resume deep dive, and then the interviewer presented a LeetCode hard question that I was expected to solve live.

I couldn’t finish within the allotted time. The question was challenging enough that the clock worked against me, and I ended up not making it to a completed solution.

I didn’t get an offer, and I left with the feeling that the timing pressure was the decisive factor more than a lack of understanding.
