Wells Fargo Software Engineer interview experience

Positive

United StatesPosted Jan 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My experience was genuinely positive and the tone was set immediately by how welcoming everyone was.

The recruiter was great about answering questions, and the whole process felt well constructed, with breakout rooms and solid interviewers.

The only thing that really stood out negatively for me was a small tech detail: the recruiter I was speaking with had her camera off. It was minor, but it made the call feel a little less personal.

Overall, it was an easygoing vibe compared to some high-pressure processes I’d heard about. The interviewers were friendly and the flow felt smooth, and I finished the day feeling like I’d been treated professionally, even if I didn’t end up with an offer.
